1. What we receive from Facebook
If you choose “Continue with Facebook”, we receive only your public profile: your name, profile photo and an app-specific Facebook ID. We do not receive your Facebook password, friends list or posts, and we never post to Facebook for you. We use this data only to sign you in and show your name and photo on your KanadaWorld account.
2. Remove KanadaWorld from Facebook
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Open Apps and websites (under “Your activity” or “Security”).
- Find KanadaWorld and choose Remove.
- Tick the option to delete posts, photos and videos KanadaWorld may have published (we publish none) and confirm.
Facebook then notifies us automatically, and we delete the Facebook link and any Facebook profile photo we stored. You receive a confirmation code you can look up on this page.
3. Delete your KanadaWorld account
To delete your whole KanadaWorld account and all personal information linked to it:
- Signed in: go to Profile & account and choose Delete account.
- Can't sign in: use our account deletion page, or email info@kanadaworld.ca with the subject “Delete my account” from the email address on your account (or include your Facebook name if you signed up with Facebook).
We complete deletion within 30 days. We may keep limited records we are required to retain by law, such as payment and tax records, as described in our Privacy Policy.
